SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA AND MYANMAR PRAYER FOCUS

• Pray for our Territorial Leaders, Colonels Lyndon and Bronwyn and Lt Colonels Paul and Evelyn. Pray for God’s continuing anointing on their leadership and for God’s wisdom and courage to lead us forward!

• Pray for each officer and Salvationist in Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar as we prepare for Holy Week and Easter. Pray for a new sense of wonder and commitment as we focus on God’s love and mercy, and the grace we receive because of Jesus’s death and resurrection.

• Pray for every evangelism effort that is shared during Easter. Many Corps all over our Territory are planning for evangelism during this time. Pray that God will honour our faith and action with people seeking Jesus as their personal Saviour.

 • Praise God for TSA in Myanmar. Pray for God’s blessing on Majors Amaro and Susan as they leave Myanmar on 28 April, and take up new appointments in their home Territory. Pray for the new Regional Officers, Majors Bo and Christina Jeppsson from the Sweden and Latvia Territory. Pray for their preparation.

Continue to pray for all our Officers who have changed appointments and the new Lieutenants in their first appointments.

 • Continue to pray for the search of MH370, and for families mourning the loss of their family members in this tragedy.

• Pray for the SMM Vision for 2014. The Name of Jesus. Transformation ~ Life ~ Hope ~ Cleansing ~ Freedom ~ Power ~ Authority ~ Justice ~ Healing

Pray for each corps and centre in our Territory to have an intentional plan to bring this vision to life in our communities. Pray that we will keep Jesus lifted above everything we do and are.

• Continue to pray for Thailand. As tensions rise again in Bangkok, pray for God’s intervention and believe for a long term solution to their political crisis. Pray for Captains Ken and Neva Phiouthong as they continue to work for the possible opening of TSA in Thailand.

 • Pray for our work in Sabah. Pray for our ministry in Kota Kinabalu and surrounding towns and kampongs. Pray for Major Kok Seng, CSM Simon, the soldiers and workers in ministry. Pray for the Day Care Centre in Kota Kinabalu that provides education for children not eligible for the government school system. Pray for more children to enroll and for committed staff. Pray also for potential candidates to come from this Bahasa Melayu speaking congregation.

• Pray for one another’s needs as shared in your prayer group. Pray also for the sharing of God’s Word during the coming weekend. Pray for people to be transformed by the Word and the Spirit of God.
