THE GOOD SHEPHERD

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows
me and I know the Father — and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are
not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall
be one flock and one shepherd.”
John 10:14-16

SEEK HIS FACE AND HONOUR HIM:

As the One who is ready to forgive; gracious and compassionate; slow to anger and
abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness; who forgives all our sins and heals all our
diseases.

PRAY:

• For the Church to listen and respond to the voice of the Shepherd, and to willingly
follow Him wherever He leads, be it by green pastures and peaceful streams, or
through the valley of the shadow of death.
• For the Church to be completely surrendered unto the Good Shepherd, trusting that
all things will work together for the good for those who trust Him.
• For the world to encounter the tenderness and immense compassion of the Shepherd,
who longs to gather those scattered and lost into His arms, and carry them close to
His heart.
• For children, orphans, broken men and women, the homeless, elderly, sick, and those
abandoned to experience His care and provision.
